  2. Tech Sector Woes: Major tech companies like Amazon and Intel have reported weaker-than-expected earnings, leading to substantial declines in their stock prices. Amazon dropped nearly 10%, and Intel fell over 27%.

  3. Market Volatility: The Nasdaq Composite has fallen more than 10% from its recent peak, entering correction territory. The S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average have also seen significant declines.
